Just kidding. After speaking with customer service, I will be sending my SR5 HH out to California for some possible preamp work and some setup work. By the time I ship it and get it back I will be losing about 2 weeks or so (they only keep it for a week I am told) with the bass. My backup is a 4 string P so I am not too happy.

so anyone wants to lend me a their 5 string Stingray or Bongo let me know.

Maybe a 5 string Bongo instead of another Stingray. I will have to try one out first to see if I like the feel and hear the sound difference. Only 2 5 string Bongos on Ebay. Only 1 page of Stingray 5's
