This is sad news. I cant believe I never went to see him at Irridium here in the City. I hope I will still be playing my EBMMs at 94.

Oh no, that is really sad news!
What an amazing pioneer he has been for the music world - it would not be what it is today if he hadn't invented all this amazing stuff in addition to his incredible guitar playing!
And let's not forget his iconic signature model which he made famous and that wrote history...

R.I.P. Lester!

R.I.P. Les. I've often thought, if I could sit around and play like Les, I wouldn't leave the house!

OMG...I literally just watched a performance of his at the Iridium (?) in NYC a week ago. And at the time I thought I better get up there and see him while I have a chance. This is horrible. He was a really good person, an great inventor, and a great guitarist.

The man INVENTED MULTI-TRACK RECORDING. (Delay, as well, amongst many other things). It's not just the guitar that should bear his legacy. A true pioneer in every sense of the word.

Get ready for some REALLY expensive Les Pauls coming out of Gibson now, too, I bet.

I was just thinking the same thing, but I'm not wasting BP's bandwidth on it.

The man was an innovator and a great musician. He will be missed. Rock on Les!!!
