First, I have to tell you that my wife and youngest child (3 weeks at the time) flew to Toronto for her cousin's wedding. Fortunately, I was also able to bring an EBMM gig bag for Jazzbo Jim with me. He was gracious enough to drive to my hotel and pick it up at the hotel I was staying at while I was attending the wedding. I owe him a THANK YOU for being so accommodating (as well as saving us both some shipping fees!). A very easy transaction with another forum member - I'm beginning to NOT be surprised anymore at the ease of working with you guys! Awesome! And - Jim - Thanks for the bonus!!!
Anyways - even though we were only there for less than 3 days, my wife and I fell in love with Toronto. What a beautiful city! Very impressive. So clean! The Hockey HOF was a fantastic adventure - most impressive. My wife took a bus tour of the city and saw all kinds of cool things (can't stop talking about "Xavier's School"!). Sorry to ramble - but Toronto was freakin' awesome - we are going back for a vacation when my youngest becomes potty trained (yeah - 3 years or so).
Oh yeah - wish I could have met Jazzbo - all the other Toronto-ites we met were very congenial and helpful (except for one customs dude who took his job just a tad too seriously - but I digress). Anyways - if you ever get a chance to go for a visit - do it! Toronto rocks! And now I know where the title for YYZ came from!
