Cold dead hands eh....hehe...you're only a few states away.... :D

That Axis is nothing compared to your JP6...IMO at least...

So then I can take it that the VT is Vermont?? MikeVT is also from Vermont.
Where abouts are you in the wonderful skiing state???

Thanx, the JP is awesome and I'm glad I plunked down the $ for it. Though don't dump on the Axis Sports they are sweet under rated guitars.

Actually....I'm in MD...VT is for where I went to school....Virginia Tech...(everyone leave me alone about last week...I'm still hurting...)

Not dumping on the Axis...I don't really know anything about them...but just looking at the pics...the JP6 finish looked much much better to me at least....

*smack* How many JPs you got now, Ernie?

Foggy has the most JP pics, Ernie has the most JP guitars.

Norrin, where are the pics of it glowing in the dark?

I think Ernie has the most guitars period!!!!

See how fuzzy it is? I'll try and get some better ones.

Norrin, I don't really know anything about your cam & I'm not a photography expert, but try using a tripod for the cam, and stand for the guitar. The program mode on your cam is slowing the shutter speed in order to get enough light for the pic - which makes it more susceptible to camera shake. I've gotten a bunch of great dark pics by either doing as above, or using the manual settings on my cam.

Leecs! I love it! I especially like the photo of the guy taking the pic (nice snazzy shirt too) ;)

I'll post a pic of my black sparkle JP6 when I have chance.

What struck me about this thread is how few people have the JP inlays - personally I think this is a good thing, that shield at the first fret is a bit naff/kitcsh for me. What do others think?

I like the shield, but it would be cool  if you could get your own initials in there like RH for example. This is just a thought, and dont see anything like this happen unless I make it and have my own signature model  (I'm only 20, wish me luck with that :D ). Since I dont even have either a J or P in my name I think it is kind of pointless myself.

I could change my names initials to fit it properly and get the inlays. So instead of Robert Holly I would be called Pobert Jolly!!! LOL Sounds like some sh** from a cartoon or something, or anime. I dunno, but I am considering changing my name now LOL :p ! Or in order for it to be JP in order: Jobert Polly??? LOL
I really have nothing to do at work!!!

Dave, I'm not crazy about the JP shield and shield inlays, but that's me.

I didn't know you have a Black Sparkle JP??? When did you get that???
Was that the one on EvilBay a few weeks back, in Germany???

I have the JP shield inlays. I like them because they're different. Just a personal preference.

I don't think I own a guitar with dot inlays... hmm..

Well, I guess my Y2D will fill that void!

Here's mine...

Not a single fingerprint, swirl, smudge, scratch, ding, crack or speck of dust. No warranty, but other than that it's pretty much a brand new guitar. Now I just have to get re-acquainted with nickel/silver frets. All my of other guitars for the last 3 years have (had) stainless steel frets, which I love.
