So I'm liking that new Buttercream color. In fact, I'd like to take back the one I got last week (see stingray neck topic) and exchange it for this new color. The question is:

Will it really take 90 days if I order it?

Come on boys, show me some luv.

....and if you can't fly you'll have to move in with the rhythm section - steely dan

quick follow up - the store did quote $240 and 90 days. Whats more, they'll allow me to keep the one I have until the new one comes in. Whadayathink?

It generally takes at least 90 days. Keep in mind that we don't make them until you order them, and there are usually 3,000 on order at any given time. That means all those orders are in front of yours. Yeah, it takes time, but it's worth the wait.

Mr Bone,

I had to wait 3 months for mine, and although a shiney dollar sounds mighty good, the reality is you will have to wait unless you find one already built.

Let's just put the dollar into the beer fund and leave T-bone to beg at the feet of Big Poppa.

Seriously T-Bone, 90 days would be the fastest fulfillment we've witnessed. Mine took about 4 months when I received it back in December. Worth every millisecond of the wait time, though.

Alllllrighty then. You boys have convinced me. I've just called the store and had them place the order. Probably the best part is I get to keep the one I bought until the new one comes in.

Now, who wants that shiney new dollar? Better yet, who wants to go to Dizkneeland?

That's a lot of basses (and guitars, I guess)

And I thought my two Musicmans were special!

If I understand correctly, ButterCream is not available anymore; it was a 05 limited edition color.

ButterCream is a beautiful color and I may be wrong, but I’d get an official word from one of the EBMM guys here before I’d trust a store. :D

Well, back in April when he started this thread, it was available. Hell, at the rate people go through basses around here, it's possible he's had the bass, and traded for three different ones since then.....
