Yes, yes, yes! Aziah is all knowing and super cool!!!
My earlier thread this year turned into a knowledge quest that eventually led to the bass seen above. Thank you Aziah for all the information, and thank you everyone else for the bass compliments. Pictures do not do it justice. I also heard a rumor that only 17 of these were made. I cannot confirm that in any way though.
If it matters, it also plays and sounds fantastic! . Even acoustically, it has great projection and sustain.
The next step above this bass would be the 2008 Ebony Limited Edition made for Germany only. Sweeeeeettttttt!

How does the ebony fretboard work on this Ray, sound-wise?
Curious because the limited editions roasted maples will have the ebony as well.
