So, I sees 'dis awksion on the ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3774426011&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

I wrote the guy to ask him what was so limited about it and he wrote back:

"Greetings
they will not be made forever in this model as well the hrad
case is not going to be either!

Thank you The Big Picture Gerard"

Alright, sos all you guys out there, buy up as many Petrucci's as quickly as you can be cause they will not be made forever in this model, and don't forget to buy an extra hrad case because, well you've heard the news right? The hrad case is not going to be either!!!!!!!!!!!

OK so the guy's a moron...
But damn, that's a nice guitar isn't it? I like the black - first time I see one.
And the price seems almost reasonable for a new guitar on eBay.

Sadly (for me) it's in Toronto meaning I could pick this up locally. (Must ... hold ... back ....)

> If you scout ebay, you can get a better deal.

Yeah, you're right. Thing is, when you factor shipping and Canada customs into the mix it's usually quite a few extra $$$.

Now that I think about it ... maybe that explains why I seem to come back with a guitar every time I take a trip south of the border ... :D

You should really take a look at the Luke.

I think you'd like it much better.

:p

I got me one of them Lukes, black sparkle to be precise. I likes it fine, but them Pee-trucci's is for me.

now we all know that ernie1966 is personally responsible for the 3.5 month wait for a new axe from EBMM. He's got a 3-month queue of his own!

Not true!!!!! As I have explained before, those of us who order multiple Pet's from EB on a regular basis speed up the process. How? I'll tell ya how.

Is ya ready?

The more Pet's I order, the more practice the builders get, thus, they can pump them out faster because of all the practice they are getting.

DO YOU GET IT NOW??!!!

I've only got one - that actually has "Limited Edition" stamped on the neck plate BTW ;) - but I'm already conspiring to get more. My wife thinks I have enough guitars - I have 4, and my children have a combined total of 2. I guess I'll plan my next purchase for a month when she's spent $$$$ on her salt water fish tank.

P.S. - I've thought about trying the JP7, not to be a "Drop-D" NuMetal kind of guy, but for the tonal possiblilities. Imagine the Chord possibilities. Do you JP7 guys play them often, or are they just a music room ornament like my strat?
