I'll plan my next purchase for a month when she's spent $$$$ on her salt water fish tank.

I got a 125 saltwater myself. If she's new to the hobby a must read is THE CONSCIENTIOUS MARINE AQUARIUST by Bob Fenner. Hell, it's good if she's had a tank for years.

I'm with you Keith- it's on the list ahead of the JP. Just waiting to find the right one at the right price ...

I spend at least a good hour on my JP-7 a day. I try to get in an hour on each one. I have one at the office for lunch time and the others at home. I have the JP-7 at home and try various things and chords with it......I find it easier to finger pick with due to the wider fret board.....
My tastes run more along the Paul Gilbert school of 7 string than that of Korn. I am not that big of a fan of Korn......I find their cover of Pink Floyd to be rather un-original and it tells me they need money or have run out of ideas.....my opinion of course. I did see them here at a big music fest and I will say their bass player is awesome though. Dude can throw down and their show was good, even though I would not buy any of their CD's.
Anyway, I play my JP-7 all the time. It did take some getting used to though. Still does, so I tend to practice with that one last. That way it won't get me off track going from a 7 string back to a 6 string......I am easily confused sometimes....hehehehe

I just thought it rather amusing if ernie1966 were to find a guitar he liked better than a jp. :p

That would be some garage sale. Koogie might make an offer for the entire lot!

:D

Probably ain't gonna happen though. I wonder which one is his favorite?

Not that this was it but there was a bunch of very expensive limited edition Japan-market JPs in 6's and 7's. There were handsigned and came with a load of stuff like T-shirts, backstage pass, Special cert...... anyone see on of those?? I saw it in a old Young Guitar mag I pickup recently.

I saw that ad. This joint in Japan had 15 of the first 100 Pet's signed by JP, 10 6 string and 5 seven string. They also had a certificate to go along with each guitar stating the serial # and that the guitar was one of the 1st 100 produced and hand signed by Mr. Petrucci.
