I would love to see a 20th anniversary type package on a Silo Special.

But if color is what we have to choose as far as option I would love to see a nice warm color like honey burst. I would love to have a Silo Special in honey burts. :)

Right on the money! I'm definately in if one every comes out...maybe cherry burst?

OK, a modern approach to a burst ?

GRAPHITE Pearl BURST ?

i.e Graphite Pearl on outer, blending to a transparent silver/grey revealing a nice quilt or flame top.

Oh, Yeah...... with Satin Platinum / Pewter finish (or similar) hardware :)

did anyone see my post

I think everyone saw it - but they are having too much fun ignoring it!

Dave B hows retail?

We had a really busy run up to Xmas - lots of gear going out of the door. Starter acoustics were popular and one of the top sellers was the Hughes & Kettner Switchblade combos - oh yes and some little known guitar firm from California.....

Since taking over at the end of Nov

2 Petruccis
2 Y2Ds
1 Silo Special
1 Bongo
1 Stingray 4H
1 Stingray 5H

Had some staffing issues - new guy starting Thursday but enjoying it so far :) .

Dave

P.S. Also sold the F*nder So-Cal Strat which IMHO was the sh*ttiest guitar in the shop!!!!

Guys Thanks for the input but as it is we are offering hundreds of new models this year and there is a limit to what we can do and still be able to not break our production mokel.
Keep in mind that we have a loong list of things on the drawing board for the future including things that are fairly similar to what you are askng for

But we can exclusively reveal that we are working on the Jimmyb signature model. Special features include a 'no talent' switch (hard-wired to always be on) and no pickups connected to the output (so that we don't have to listen to it).
AS FAR AS THE BP BIOGRAPHY IT WOULD BE TWO PAGES.

Just a reminder of the Big Guy's words :D

I heard about Barrie's departure, a mate of mine had some really tidy work done by him on several guitars. Good to see that you've got a suitable replacement though!

Barrie's departure was entirely due to the time it took him to travel to Machinehead, his new place is a short walk from his home in Essex.

We have enlisted the services of Rob Bond, who is a fine guitar builder in his own right and will keep up the level of service we expect. In fact Rob is more experienced in many areas such as vintage guitars, resetting acoustic necks, lacquering.

We intend to offer a while you wait service on a Saturday where you can book a time slot for work such as setups, fretdress, wiring and replacing pickups with any more major work to be performed in Rob's own workshop.

Watch the site for more details.

Ah! Good to know that it was on good terms. I think it was on the intermusic forums that people were jumping to conclusions. (New owner + Barries departure = ?)

Check your PM's btw. Something that I hope you find useful!

Some nice cusotm fret inlays would be nice.....maube EBMM lettering instead of standard dots!

More maple necks - on the Luke and JP models...

Natural wood finishes would also be nice - mahog with figured tops other than flame or quilted maple.

Fixed bridge Axis, Jp and Luke models...that means no trem whatsoever!

Reverse headstock...! Hey I love the 80s and the 80s is making a comeback!

All of the baove can be easily incorporated into all models which I think is Dargins original request.

I'd be happy with an Axis, JP or Luke with all those options!

Oh and a lovely 'History of EBMM' book would be nice with lots of photos and behind the scenes stuff!

The Axis would make for a great Semi Hollow Body guitar like the PRS Hollow Body II....maybe a gap in the market that needs filled by EBMM to compete?
