I agree ,on the semi hollow body ....but with yamaha selling theirs for $499.00 Canadian with a case a tshirt and a pick and a lifetime Warranty it might be a little to late to jump in on the market,We have sold more semi's this year than in the last 10 years combined....................... DONT GET ME WRONG i am not saying that an EBMM semi wouldnt be just as fantastic as the rest of their line up but like BP said it takes years to recoup R&D and setup costs on a single design,and by the time they release it the craze for the semi hollow body will be over and another will take its place,Last year SG styles were it ..........i couldnt keep them is stock and not the Gi$$on one's just the epiphones ,for me semi hollows just never sold until i got a decent one in under $500.00 and i have been selling guitars at the same location for over 20 years
