I figured they were a special run. I just think they look better with the JP inlays since its his signature guitar. I think it would've been cool to at least have that as an option while ordering. No biggie though, the DDII's are still awesome, hence why I have two.

As of the close of the market yesterday, $1.00 = ¥91.38, so they are both well over $5000.

It's true that the Japanese do get some cool stuff in general. I collected Japanese 1st pressing CD's for many years, though I sold most of it to fund my EBMM's. Aside from the discs often coming with bonus tracks, they have great packaging, cool extra's and the booklets were usually printed on nice thick glossy paper, especially the 1st pressings.

Didn't see it was established to be a special run.

I'm a huge fan of the inlays on my DD2 -- probably wouldn't have bought it without them! Really distinguishes from the "normal" runs.
