Linear density of extra slinky and super slinky strings?

Hey, I am doing a big physics project for my school, and I'm investigating the link between string thickness, tension, and frequency. I have everything figured out but I only need the linear density for the strings in the extra slinky and super slinky packs. I have looked everywhere but I can't find them. Any help is much appreciated! :)
 
Hi Onana! Welcome to the forum.

To get that info you should email Ernie Ball customer service BUT you can measure and calculate it faster than they can respond to you.

You already know the string diameters; the string gauge is the nominal diameter in thousands of an inch, you can convert that easily to millimeters, or meters. From the diameter you calculate the circumference. You can also directly measure the length between the saddle and the nut for each string. You can therefore calculate the volume (length x circumference of the string). Your school should have a scales accurate enough to get a good measure of that length of the string. Once you know the mass and volume you can calculate the density.
