Close, but no cigar!! The color on Dweezils Albert is called "Stratos Blue" and is slighly less green than the Glacier Blue. It was a sample we got when trying out sparkle colors. BTW, the guitar has humbuckers with nickel covers.

Thanx Dudley!

I saw Lisa play the Pinkish Albert Lee live when she and Dweezil toured, briefly, for the Food Network show. The show I saw was the last one they did together.
Anyway, I've got some cool pics from that show, but I'll have to dig them out. The guitar looked really nice, and not as pink as one would think. She used it in her attempt to play lead guitar to one of Dweezil's songs. Put it this way, she should sell me the AL and continue playing pretty acoustic songs on her Taylor's...

You can go to www.joetravers.com and click onto the photos section and then go to the Boston show for pics of Lisa playing the pink AL.

Dweezil's Alert Lee is a thing of beauty though. I also dig the AL Blues Saraceno has. Check out the video demos he did for Bronx amps. His AL has Seth Lover's in it and what a fine tone he gets.

yeah, it was a really lite pink and with the sparkles it makes it hard under stage lights to see the exact color. I didn't know it was actually pink until I read on this very forum about it's true color. Looked Champaign to me, but I'm horrible with colors to begin with. :p

by the way, at least from that photo, it looks like Loeb hasn't aged a day since "Stay". (Memories from grade school slowly coming back....) :D

Just thought I'd bump this back to the top of the pile - so it's easier for me to see pickies of the AL, and to see my animated gif - thanks for sorting out the upload problems codemonkey, and for Owen for doing the gif.
