My band opened the second stage at this past Sunday's "Outlaw Jam" in Frederick, MD with Bad Company, Blue Oyster Cult, Candlebox, Black Stone Cherry, etc. Although we went on right after the gates opened at 11 a.m., we ended up playing for a couple of thousand people in the stands and in the field, which you can't really tell from these. Regardless, we had a freekin' blast.

Backline was provided (which we didn't know until three days before) so I had to run out to buy a crappy Boss DS1 to run in front of a Fender Super Reverb. Not really the sound I was hoping for but it worked in a pinch.

Here's the gear I used and a super hi-tech pedal rig LOL! That Fender Super was ungodly L O U D. The green MXR pedal didn't get stepped on during our set -- sounded way too shrill at sound check. Too bad, because it's actually a very cool take on a Tubescreamer. I really wish I would've had time to research (and then find) a good gain pedal to use with the Fender because it sounded fantastic clean.

Looks like a great gig! I run a plain old '90s Tube Screamer in front of my Super, really haven't found anything better. You bass player needs to get a Michael Anthony JD bass to complete the band's look! Great pics.

A little Molly Hatchet. Sweet!

You guys play any 38 Special?

Yep. We did Hold on Loosely second at this gig. All we play are southern rock covers and we typically do the 10 pm to 2 am club gigs. We play several .38 Special tunes.

One upside of doing this festival is that we signed with a big booking agency and have already started making alot more money in bigger rooms.

What a great bill to be on and you guys sounded terrific. I have always been a big fan of southern rock, and glad to see you guys keeping the flame burning. Also congrats on the agency signing.
