In the mid 80's, when it was "fashionable" to do those things, because Cinderella and their ilk were doing it, I went to do the guitar flip (I was playing an Explorer skinny stringer in those days) and the headstock hit the lights and broke right off. I slammed down the guitar in disgust and finished the night on my SG.

Oh that must have sucked so bad. When I was in an 80's metal cover band a couple of years ago, I had the urge...but at the time I didn't want to chance something horrible happenng....I was playing a couple of Rics and a Sterling at the time...
