On NPR tonight I was listening to a Los Lobos interview.
Interviewer: So you guys have been around for a long time and I know people would love to hear something from back in the day... (track starts playing)
The band can be heard laughing in the background. Comments like "it's so... perky."
Interviewer: So why are you guys cracking up? What am I missing here?
Band: Oh, it's like when you find an old photo of yourself and your ears look too big, or you're wearing something embarrassing. I mean, it was 30 years ago. We play so much lower now, you know?"
Interviewer: Why is that? Why do you play lower now?
Band: Gravity.
