Wow, so sorry PK, I wouldn't blow you off, just saw your post today. Yeah, I went, I never miss an Elf gig, unfortunately life's realities prevent them from gigging more often. I LOVE Magic Elf, it's always a pleasure seeing/hearing them. As I'm sure you know, their style is a cool mix of Dream Theater, Dregs, Rush, King Crimson, Allan Holdsworth, Eric Johnson, etc. They have a really cool medley of 70's prog stuff, Yes, Rush, Crimson, etc. They play in this small bar, really intimate. As usual, there are only a handful of people in the "crowd". It might bother them, but it doesn't bother me, I always get a front row "seat". Here's a pic from 11/03. I have a bunch more.

As usual, Joe Nardulli was there, I know you like him too. Coincidentally, I'm going to see Joe tomorrow night 3/10. Joe is an amazing guitarist and composer, and a very cool guy.
