Hey guys,

Its been a while since I've been on here, so I figured I'd come check in. I have a band going now called Partikal myspace.com/partikalmusic and things are awesome so far. We've only been a band for a little over 3 months and we have 10 songs written, all of which are drastically different. I have my JP tuned down to drop A and I use that for one of our songs called "Point of No Return", its about a black hole, so it needed to be epically heavy and heavily epic. Anyway, we have a video up on our myspace of our first show and I'd like to see what everyone thinks. It's also on youtube at [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gar3Tu4nJH4"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]

All feedback welcome, and even if you don't want to hear it, how are you?

Thanks everybody. I havent been on much lately since this band started up. This Thursday we're playing again, but our drummer's dad is recording the whole set, so we'll actually have full songs for people to see. So far our set consists of 9 songs, but you only hear 3 on the video:

American Dream - first one we wrote, kinda sounds to me like that song that would be the single if we wanted to throw a little bit of everything we do out there a once. Heavy driven chorus and prechorus, light melodic verse and bridge, heavy breakdown outro [which sadly didnt get captured... I love that part]

Point of No Return - I was watching the History channel and The Universe came on, so I watched an episode about black holes. I was so inspired by it that I wrote the heaviest thing I've written yet and wrote the lyrics, so this is kind of my baby. Plus, I use the JP on it :]

Juicebox - Our drummers song pretty much, I tried to emulate a Petrucci + Lamb of God + Tool vibe throughout. Very aggressive song, definitely our most Metal track, and the only song that has intense screaming. This song was in the works before the band even started jamming out ideas musically, the idea was in our heads to write a really heavy angry "The Last Song" by Sevendust style song directed at former bandmates for the troubles they've caused.

I'll try to get in front of a computer more often, and I'll definitely be back to tell you guys about the show and share the videos. Not to mention my photographer came up for our first show and did some amazing work, so I'll be sharing that as well.

My avatar loves you all
