I have trolled this forum for awhile. Should of joined sooner but never did. Here is my Axis Hardtail. We have bought another house and I paniced and put this on Ebay....I listed it pretty high and I had some offers that I almost accepted. I would be regetting it now if I had let it go.

That really is a fantastic top! If you ever do decide to sell again I'm sure you'd find a buyer here on the forum.

Thanks for the welcome and the great comments on the Axis. Glad I kept it and I will be adding a Axis SS Goldtop w/soapbars within the next month .

Welcome Southern! Beautiful guitar - it's gonna be quiet around here this weekend with most of our forumites in Dallas, but stick around, this place grows on ya!

Just a great feeling and playing guitar. I love the simple set up on this model Axis. It sounds fine through my Dr.Z-Mesa Boogie-and absolutely was made to be played through my B.M.F. head.

Also, if anyone knows where a Axis SS GoldTop MM90's is in stock let me know.Jeff

What a beautiful burst! I have shot a few bursts in my time and I have always hated how the cheap bursts have a definitive edge from the dark to the center. The gradual fade is much more colorful/tasteful in my opinion and not that much more time consuming to do. I don't understand why others don't take the time.

Just one other reason I enjoy playing EB.

I think that with the Axis having a Flat top....Quilts just pop out so much more...Mine and many other burst look like thet are on fire...Some of the Blue Quilts I have seen look like you could dive head first into them.

And of course, the build quality and attention to detail has alot to do with it.

Great bunch over here....thanks for the comments. I assure you there were many nights that I would lurk around over here and just be drooling over some of the pictures of all the nice EBMM guitars. Glad I joined and I am very proud of my Axis.

Can't wait to play the next EBMM that I have coming in a few days.;)

Can you guess what it is by looking at my avatar?:D
