Wow! Look at that top and the wood grain on back and outside the maple top! Just stunning. I want one so badly now, but I can't have one :(

MusicMan Guitars

You have to scroll down a bit to find it. They also have a really cool DD2 JP7 BFR if you go down to the 7-string section.

Looks like their JP7 BFR Dargie is priced only slightly higher than a normal JP7. Wonder if that is correct?

That is just so gorgeous, I can't think of words to describe it!

I love the black veneer that separates the quilt maple from the mahogany.

slightly off topic

I’ve been a member for over 2 years but I still don’t know just what a Dargie is? I know they come out with a yearly special order and that their green, but thats about it. Anybody care to answer.

I wont add a new post, thanks for the answer Fing.

Dargie is Scott Ball, BP's son, The Dargies are nickmnamed for him since they are his creation, only been two releases of Dargies the original in Summer 2006 and this one, they are sweet.

Now back on subject that color just smokes nice JP

That's Alder that is separated by the veneer. Only the neck and the tone block are Mahogany, but the body is alder like all the other JP BFR's, except for the Koa model.
