Yes they were but apparently there were still a few knocking about in the old store room so I ordered one through the the Blind Lemon via Chandler Guitars and hey presto *(not so presto really, but it's here now)

I must admint there's something about these "ice" guards that I find very captivating. I just love the way they reflect light, I am glad I've managed to get both the white one and the black one despite them being discontinuted, I shall be swapping them from time to time, all the fun to alternate the look of it.

I'm considering to replace my black PG on Sterling (very visible scratches and finger prints), but I'll wait warranty to expires!

Anyway, does PG change can avoid warranty?

Someone from the factory can give official word but I don't see where changing out the pickguard will void the warranty.

Very nice - apart from your 25th and your son's guitar have you any other EBMM surprises on order??

My darling girlfriend came back from Los Angeles last month with a bag full of stuff that she bought in some music stores over there, she said it's what I would like for sure since it's what I have been using for long time, (so she says) whilst I was not allowed to see what was inside as she hid them, I imagine it can only be a load of lyme green packs of Super Slinky's set s of 5'ers #2836 or similar, we shall see. But that is it for a while.

My last purchase for the year 2009 was a very ubercool Mark Bass Compressore Pedal, which I am loving. You should try one, they're pukka!

Lucky you - or maybe it'll be some other cool EBMM item - I just got a Shopatronic email offering those cool EBMM bassball caps with the old Musicman logo.

I have an Aphex Punch Factory which I use with my rig - I'll try a Mark Bass one when I get a chance though. The compressor works well with the fretless Ray especially if you hit the strings hard!

This is the unit I've got and below is a very good review of it.
