This just arrived today! I haven't even taken the plastic off the pickguard. Sterling HH, Vintage Sunburst, Maple Fingerboard, Matching Headstock. I had a single H Sterling I sold because I couldn't resist the HH (and I usually play on the neck pickup, so it's much easier especially with the new flush mount screw holder design). I'm in awe of this new arrival. Thank you EBMM! Here comes the funk!:p:cool::eek::p:cool::rolleyes::)

The one behind it does. Plus, I still need to master the 4. However, when the Sterling 5 comes out, it will be hard to resist....

Nice one dude.

You're the one who gave me advice about the finger picking up front, right? Before I bought my used H, I tried out one just like yours in GC, except it was rosewood & nonmatching headstock. IMO that's the nicest finish. I must say, if I had the extra $6-700, I would've got it right there on the spot... That extra H functions great as a finger rest, and sounds really fat.

It IS the coolest Sterling!!

Yes, the one I sold was another Vintage Sunburst with a rosewood fingerboard. It was beautiful also, but I've taken a liking to the maple in recent years. For me the HH really helps me place my thumb while playing. The Sterling neck has changed my bass life!

Thanks, and viewers, please continue to compliment. I have to show my wife that it was indeed a wise and "necessary" purchase despite the other items in my collection (only some of which are pictured)!!!!
