Someone had posted on here a while back about this EvilBay listing, and I found it during a thread search. Hopefully, it will be on its way soon...

no doubt.............i had to settle with an ESP for my son..........all the money is tied up in my Sterling

:D
I'm hoping this is a lifetime investment. I took it out of her college fund ;-) Seriously, all music purchases come out of my gig money, which I also split 50/50 with my wife. It keeps me motivated when we play "I Will Survive" or "I Wish" for the 10,000th time.

I'd given my Trans White to my 15 year old son. Seems he's lost interest :(

It's back in my study :D
That may be because it wasn't a sparkle finish ;-) That's a bummer. I do know I can always sell this if she loses interest, but I'd be a lot more bummed about that than spending the $$$ on the bass. She starts at the Paul Green School of Rock in the fall, so hopefully she'll really progress there and stay motivated.

Nice!

I bought my son a Steinberger XL-2 LEFTY! Cost me a fortune. I think he keeps it in his dorm closet. :(

My daughter got a Squier Bronco bass. Flipped over and strung up lefty. Both kids are lefties! And she figured out that she had inherited her mother's laying ability. Which is to say she has none. So, it stays in the closet.

Moral of the story: Don't have kids! :D :D :D :D

NO! As I told my son, it is every parents God given right to HATE the mindless tripe their kids listen to!:D :D

My dad hated mine, and his dad hated his....... It's a never ending cycle.

p.s. Most of what my son listens to consists of the word yoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoniggamuthafukkahobeeotchyoyoyo!!

Very cool. It took my dad a long time to get over my playing bass. Guitar was tolerable, but the whole jazz and rock thing was a stretch. One of the coolest things was when he finally reached the poin that he could help me out with a P bass just before I went off to college. I hope she gets the bug!! Seeing you have fun will be inspiration, I'm sure!:)

Hey Flyman,

What do ya mean you had to "settle" for ESP.........:D

They make good guitars. I know their not EBMM's, but they are still good.;)

Wasabi,
That's a killer bass. Congrats.
