My dad's a bit like Sharon's - he was happy for my younger sister to learn guitar, but he has some sort of mental block when it comes to the bass!

What a good dad you are! :D It always makes such a difference when the parents not only support you in what you're doing, but actively help you like that too!

Nice taste too! :D

Good on ya dude!!!

I always had supportive parents.... they are in their fifties and they still come along to mine and my brothers shows AND enjoy them.

The bass got here safely from eBay. It's in great shape (other than the tarnished pole pieces). Got it all set up with some fresh Super Slinkys.

Here she is in "The Charge." My son (her twin brother) playing drums, and Jack, the son of the singer/pianist in my band playing guitar and singing. At this point they were working on Back in Black.

What a beautiful little girl. She makes the Sting Ray look cooler than it already is.

For some reason the song "All That Matters" by Mark Knopfler runs through my head when I'm watching these pictures. Must be the lyrics.

A beautiful bass for a beautiful girl. They must be made for each other:)
