Nice Axis, although the pickguard makes it interesting, I prefer the Axis without the pickguard (and with matching headstock :p)
Good score though! Have fun!

It is a rare and unique piece. You can blame me for the pickguard. It was my shape. I still like them and if you change pickguards save the old one as this is rare.

Wow. Thanks for posting - I'm not gonna' change a thing on it. I like it very much just as it is. It has a sort of old-Tele-meets-new-rock (in a tuxedo no less) thing going on that I completely dig.

I think the pickguard really adds something to the Axis. This one blows my mind:

Very cool guitar.

Slight hijack . . . .I had an Axis Sport with a cream pickguard, and it was a really good/cool guitar. I did get a clear pickguard for it. Really amped up the cool factor.

I get the pickgaurd concept........but couldn't do it myself.

Maybe a "CLEAR" pickgaurd or "Brown Tortoise" pickgaurd would change it up a little ?? dunno

BUT, you did purchase an AXIS, so still is a winner ;)

Hey Sterling, y'know I wasn't mad keen on the pickguard originally but grew to love it's style. I didnt like the Albert much either, but now look... :D
