Larry, I've met you in person and you're a friend of mine so naturally I'm happy for you, but I mean, even when a newbie joins the forum excited about his or her new MusicMan bass I'm happy.

That was Spectorbassguy. He pops in every now and then but I haven't heard from him in quite a while. He provided some great entertainment around this place.

Not yet. I probably won't get to play it through anything but my practice amp until a week from Saturday.

I won't play it this Friday since I didn't have it at rehearsal last night. The guys want to make a good impression at this festival and I don't want to make them nervous by pulling out a new bass. It wouldn't make any difference to me, but I don't want to do anything that would queer anybody's head.
