It's humor from the guitar side. Bunch of guys from some other forum talking about how the BFR tops 'suck'.

So "That top sucks" has become sort of a battle cry.

And maybe a t-shirt, too.

I have mine coming I went for the hs so I can enjoy that Alnico and the Neodynium that is exclusive to the 20th sr5 (and bongo)

Is there a thread / post somewhere that breaks down everything that went into the 20th SR5 HS? As an owner I'd like to know. I remember reading the 20th SR5 used alnico magnets in their pickups, but you're saying there's some kind of blend of alnico and neodymium?

Now don't get me wrong, further knowledge of the materials in my bass isn't going to change the fact it totally kicks @$$ as far as I'm concerned but I'd like to be as informed as possible about my bass. :)

That sounds like a cool combo. I know I like the HS in Sterling and my other SR5. Having both types of magnets in one bass must make for some interesting tonal combinations.

The HH kicks a$$.
