Wow...just wow. One of the most beautiful basses I've seen, definitely the most beautiful Sterlings I've ever seen. I voted tort fo' sho' as that would look absolutely positively classy as f***.

Wow! That's really beautiful!!

I voted white pearl, just because I hate tort... but I have to admit, it would probably look great on this one

Gorgeous, I'm glad you bought it before I did. My BFR-necked Stingray had the same overall color scheme but looked great with a plain black guard IMO.
I voted Tort because Black wasn't an option.

you know. the 4 ply 30th black/cream guard would look awesome on that bass :)

MrM

ps: you might as well get all 3 guards, then you can exchange them according to mood ;)

Congrats, I was able to hang with Brandt & the boy's at TPB for a couple of days in August, I'm surprised that this lasted, it's really a smokin' bass, I would have been in trouble if it was a 5 banger. btw I think it's begging for a Tort guard with that sick neck, enjoy that tone monster. PS they have some great Balls down there in Baton Rouge.

Oh maaaan, my left hand is itching to do some runs on that neck. Maybe you shouldn't send that case over empty...... :D;)

I vote tort cause it'll match the rosewood, but i do like the black pearl

Beautiful bass, congratulations!

On such a tidy looking instrument my personal preference is when things blend in ... the Black Pearl guard works nicely "camouflaging" the pick ups, a Tort guard would look terrific with that neck.

So, I voted Tort, and since you already have the Black Pearl - keep both and swap them every few months (as in: a different tie makes up for a new suit).

Cheers

It's not off the TPB site yet. You sure you bought it Mogee? I wonder what would happen if I tried to add it to my cart...? Oh, nevermind- clerical error; it's been fixed.

Congratulations, Mogee! I voted for tort, but I do like the camo pickups in the black pearl. You can't go wrong with anything on white, son.

Just not ready for the 5 I guess, but I do love this Sterling. Sorry Bongoloids. But my Bongo is for sale in the For Sale thread. Really nice.
You'll come crawling back asking for someone to by your Sterling so you can purchase another Bongo. I've seen it happen too many times. :D

Enjoy your new Sterling...looks like a great bass........ OMB

I voted white pearl. But I reckon it would look great with plain white. White/white always looks good, but I thinkit would look extra special with that pearl white beauty.
