Nice. Ya, I've found that if you lurk around the EBMM website, you will eventually stumble across the index pages for the BYI section, with links to all the combos available, sorted by model number and other options. In fact, Click here to be taken to it. I think all the basses are in the 100-200 category? I don't know the model number for the Bongo and haven't found it yet. For the larger pics, they're sorted in the "large" directory for the SR4s and mixed in with the thumbnails for the SR5s, I believe. I haven't looked through it entirely.

This is how I made that "Dig the Rainbow" animation I posted a while ago.

BTW: If the folks at EBMM and/or mods deem this inappriopriate, please go ahead and edit/delete.

i think the images are named like this:

opent his in a broswer window:
http://www.ernieball.com/musicman/instrument_images

then go here with another browser window: http://www.ernieball.com/mmonline/color_chart/available.html

the images seem to be named:
ModelNumber-color-neck-pickguard.gif
i dont know where to get model number from but im assuming model number covers info like JP7 w/o piezo. the rest of the numbers are from:
http://www.ernieball.com/mmonline/color_chart/available.html

so the image:
http://www.ernieball.com/musicman/instrument_images/970/970-10-20-00.gif
970 probably means jp7
10 means: Pearl redburst
20 means: rosewood neck
00 means: no pickguard

i think thats how it goes

Why are all the available colors not available to see on the "Build an Instrument" section?

EBMM hasn't updated their website in a while. However, word has it that they will be doing so this Spring.
