Hey Barry,
I don't think there ever was a Super Sport with three singles - the Axis Sport came with a pickguard for the first year or two, and there was a three single-coil version of it - I've been trying to find one for a while...
If you're interested in a Super Sport with 'buckers (red quilt, matching headstock) and your Albert Lee has a trem, drop me a line...

Yes- My mistake- it's the sport model with 3 single coils or a hum and 2 singles- I am thinking of getting the 2+1 and putting in a single if I don't get that stratty sound I seek-
I do know a dealer that has 2 NOS sports but they are butt ugly- one is kinda orange and the other is green- but there are brand new, I just don't like the color-
