About a month ago I got a Musicman Dargie Delight Luke. It is hands down the best guitar I have ever played with the best neck.

Being the crazy consumer I am, I now have desire for another Musicman guitar, one that will compliment my Luke.

I like the look of the Petrucci, since I'm a massive DT fan, but I'm also open to looking at any other models. Now, I'm not a big fan of the Axis since the body shape just doesn't cooperate with me, but I'll look at anything else. Price doesn't matter to me at this point.

Thanks,
Charles

Try the Morse. Try the Silhouette 20th Anniversary guitar. Both amazing guitars. Do you play country? blues? Try the Albert Lee.

If your happy with a Luke, buy another Luke, I've been using Luke guitars for about 10 years now, l've bought many other guitars along the way, nut nothing compares to the Luke.

Scott.

As far as I'm concerned, the Luke is the greatest guitar on the planet.

My one quibble is that it has no Floyd Rose, which is something I love to use, and it only has 22 frets as opposed to my prefered 24.

This is why I'm looking into another guitar that will possibly compliment the Luke, such as a JP with all the extra options (piezo, shield inlays, matching headstock) which I'm looking for.

I'm definitely going to give the JP a shot, and I will check out the Morse.

How versatile is the Morse?

I am based in Thailand, this Luke was the only one in my country when I bought it.

Go with a Silhouette. 24 frets, comes with the same options available (trem, piezo, etc.), plus the pickguard is interchangeable. So, if you wanted a different pickup combo, you can buy another pickguard and load it with whatever you want.

I think hes saying the axis body dcoesnt cooperate so then a morse wont be comfy for his either, I think his best bet is a 24 fret silo -

If I were to get another Luke, what options could I have on it to compliment my current one?

I was thinking what it would be like if I got another Luke, with a piezo and perhaps adding a Fernandes Sustainer. Has anybody here tried that?

I'll go for the Petrucci.
2 frets more, neck hum, more tremolo range.
