Hey All,

Im currently in the market for an EQ pedal to put in front of my JP6 when I use the piezo. I play at Church and plug directly into the PA system and I will only be using the piezo. Ive looked pretty hard at the Boss GE-7: Graphic Equalizer but I cant seem to find any reviews or other vids on youtube where players talk about using the pedal with a piezo equipped instrument.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I use my JP direct to the PA at gigs with no EQ and it sounds great just dialing in the Bass/Mids/Treble on the PA itself. The GE7 is cheap and should be fine.

Ive used my JP6 thru a PA before but I was able to control the settings but in this case I wont be able to control my own settings. Instead it will be a "sound guy" with very little experience. Plus I wanted to find a pedal that will help enhance the acoustic tone just a little (thats the GAS'r/tone junky in me). Thanks for the suggestion though. I plan on heading to GC tomorrow to try out a GE7.

Ive also been looking at the LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI. Do you have any experience using this? Thanks

I love the GE-7, it works great as a boost to your solo's as it has a volume slider as swell. It's inexpensive too :)
