Looking for clarification

I was just wondering if someone could clarify something.

Has the JP ever been marketed with adjustable pups? AFAIK, they haven't but I've come across someone who is insisting that the pups are adjustable.

not unless it's modified.

The pole pieces are adjustable... maybe that is what that person is referring to....

They are only adjustable if you shim them. Some of the early JP F-1 prototypes had the 20th style pickup rings which were adjustable.

you could shim them if you wanted to raise the height
