Hey guys!

Just got a Bass Podxt Live and the thing is awesome....I LOVE it. I'm using an Eden Metro over an Eden D210XLT onstage and the tone is sweet. I send the modeled signal to the board and a unmodeled DI to my amp. So far the Eden WT-300 paired with the Eden 410XLT mic'd (far) sounds awesome, but I was wondering if you guys had some favorite combinations. I also like the Mesa Boogie 400 paired with the Mesa 2X15 cab....punchy! I don't feel like listing all the amp models but there is Ampeg, Fender, Aguilar and Alembic to name a few. Just looking for some ideas....

Depending on your style of music (and playing), try the SVT/Mesa-Boogie 2x15 combination.

Let me know how that sounds.

Here are the four best rigs I've played through, probably in order of bestness.

1) Mesa M-2000 Head, Mesa 4x10 and 1x15 RoadReady cabs. Just awesome!!

2) EBS Fafner Head, Bergantino NV610. Smokin!!

3) Ampeg SVT II through Berg NV610

4) Fender Bassman Pro 300, Epifani 2x12 and LDS 5x8 cabs (current rig)

The Mesa stuff has always intrigued me, but I will stand by my choice of Sunn 1200 and Ampeg 4-10 and 1-15 classic cabs.

Old school?

Oh hell yeah.

Some great ideas folks....I'm thinking about an 80's style rig....GK 800rb through a Hartke Aluminum 4x10....that should be interesting. This thing is just FUN...... ;)
