Ok, I'm changing the pups in my Gold Sparkle Silo special to the Luke EMG's pups, "Luke awesome pup combination man".

The plain black pickguard is kind of boring, so I'm gonna make a change there too.

I came across another place that has some very interesting pickguards and if none of these pan out, there maybe yet another poll.

BP, I was going to do a sample of Gold mirrored like you suggested, but Pickguardheaven said that they don't make gold mirrored ones anymore.

I'm thinking plain gold/dark gold (ala Gretsch 6120), white, or white pearl. Is there such a thing as gold pearl? That might look sweet.

I voted none of the above.
If I have to choose one of them, I'd say Python.
If I get to pick something else, I'd say Gold Mirror (we already talked about that)
However, with what seems to be coming our way as newness from the factory, I'd wait to see EBMM's new offerings.

Well this is pretty much round 1, I found another place this afternoon that had some interesting ones, those'll be round 2.

Right now my personal choice has been Black Pearloid.

I'm avoiding white because the Luke EMG's are black and I've already got them, I got a wicked good deal with a "Make An Offer" on EvilBay.

I guess I would go with something with some brown in it to go with the rosewood. To me, having too much black makes the neck clash with the other colors going on. Go tortoise shell color.

on a guitar as pimped as yours id get a real mirror guard and put on it. im sure someone makes lexan mirrors so you dont have to worry about the 7 year itch if you break it

I voted stay as is. Don't detract from the sparkles, man. The paint job on that guitar is so fine.

The colour of the guitar is the main point here....you shouldn't change the pickguard to anything too busy or it will look messy and detract from the gold sparkle.
