I suppose the best of both worlds would be the Y2D pickup config, and the color options of the originals (the white and black ones in SMOC are sweet!). But that just isn't possible.

I"m looking forward to seeing more :)

I think DaveB took an original Morse and modded it with the Y2D pickup configuration, it looked great and I believe Morse even checked it out !! Do a quick search or wait for some of the die hards to post a link :D

There is a forumite with an awesome looking white Morse. Hopefully he will post pics soon.

New digital camera soon so new pics will be posted :)

Wow, some amazing pictures. I don't think some of those (sparkly) colors (and gold hardware) are available options! someone must've customized big time. :)

The modded original morse is cool. I really wish ernieball/musicman offered that.

sparkles and gold are not available!

I'm not sure who owns what.

the gold hardware is from the 2006 Limited Edition.

Arghhh! Why didn't I order a white Morse with a RW neck when I had the chance!!!

The quilted Morse in the pic of Tommy & Skoots is killer!

So far I like the vintage white w/tortoise shell pickguard, and the tobacco burst/burnt candy apple (???).

Special mention to the sparkly olive gold one!

that one is steve's.it stays home these days. it sports a quilted back also . i think skoots ,derek, and dudley started this idea . this was actually the guitar that spawned the idea of a y2d model ,if i'm not mistaken. mabey derek can shed some light.

Yes it certainly was - ok it was a long drive but totally worth it.
I gotta thank Dave again for letting me into the inner sanctum of the sound check. There were lots of people queuing to get in and I feel privileged to have observed the sound check.
I had a few photos signed by Steve that I gave away at my "Spuds Annual on line Xmas party" - along with some Steve Morse pics.

I've met Big Al (a few times) and Steve - I'd love to meet Luke.
