I have an EBMM Morse model, Blue with matching headstock and Locking Trem unit. I am looking for a model without Trem to possibly trade. The guitar was purchased in Nov 2004. It serial number indicates a dob of 8/2004

The guitar itself does everything I want it to. However, I've been unable to get the trem unit set up so that I can still use double bends.

I live in the Central Ohio area.

And if anyone is interested in trading with Dave, ask if he'll throw in a cd of his.

Fantastic playing on it.

Done without the Morse. :(

Keith thanks for compliments. I have uploaded 3 tunes to Song Ramp, search for deweyd

Just had a breakthru in a good way on the set up of this guitar. #1 duh the nut wasn't locked down  #2 although my very repible repair shop felt they could not avoid setting up the trem to float someone showed me how to get it to lay flat and not move when bending strings. With a small intonation adjustment it was ready to go.

Bottom Line - I'm no longer looking to trade for a non trem-model. I had a huge amount of fun playing the Morse guitar at last nights gig! Although, I don't normally dive bomb my trem - once I knew it would stay in tune, I found some well placed moments to do so. All in all the guitar sounds and plays great. This was also my first gig returning to a tube amp in almost 4 years. I had been playing POD, then Flextone 2 then Flextone 3... I pulled the Peavey Classic 30 out and the Morse (and my Strat sound great).

The tracks Keith is refering to were recorded pre-Morse guitar and in many case pre-Line6 amplification - an older Peavey Classic 50. I hope to record some new tracks soon with the Morse Guitar.

Glad things worked out Dave.

Swing by here more often. Good bunch of talented guys on this forum.

When you see steve morse later this month, try and hang out for the meet n greet after the show. He tells great stories and you can ask him anything you want that you've been wondering about.

Maybe you could try and talk him into writing more music for the dregs even if it's only available through his website.

I am so glad you decided to not trade. I must say I was tempted to offer my autographed Steve Morse. I should be getting my Floyded y2d Morse in June. I got some things to hold me till then. I love that yo gig your Morse. That Rocks!

Thanks for even thinking of trading an autographed guitar. I don't know that I could have done that.

Steve's coming to town in 4 days! I'm hoping my bad back gets better. It's at a venue with very few seats, so I don't know if I can make it standing up all night.
