Just wanted to bump this thread for the performance update I just recieved. Will be performing Friday the 20th, at 8:15, on the celebrity stage at the marriott. Not on the 21st as I originally thought.

ps: Joe do you have any clout with Minarik Guitars? They keep bugging the snot out of me trying to get me to pick up their guitars and:

1) I don't sell guitars and they don't make basses.

2) Even if they made basses I wouldn't sell basses that look like a lit match.

I guess I can appreciate the quality of workmanship and everything but every time I see one I just kinda say "Why?"

I just wrote a time consuming response to this - and then I had sign in again and lost the whole thing! Something weird is going on with this forum and me lately where I have to keep logging in every 5 minutes - that's never happened before. Did something change here?

Basically, in answer to your question - I have no idea. This is all new to me. I'm just walking in whatever direction the people I'm playing with point me.

Also, is there anywhere I can find a list of NAMM performances on the internet? I've only found tradshow stuff, which just overwhelmed the crap out of me. Looks like it gets a little crowded over there. How does anyone find anyone or anything??? If anyone wants to find me, I'll be the guy who looks like this And you're gonna laugh cuz it's totally true.

I asked my bandmates how I'm going to find the EB and they both laughed (the 2 that have been to NAMM the past 3 or 4 years) and said, "DON'T WORRY. YOU'LL FIND IT!

I'm lookin forward to this.

UPDATE: Iffin anyone's interested - gonna be performing Friday, Jan. 20th, 8:15, Celebrity stage at the Marriott. Someone got the date wrong originally.
I've been a little reluctant to post cuz I don't count on anything till my plane ticket is bought, but we've been given the go ahead to book our flights. I'll be performig Jan. 21st on the celebrity stage with an up and coming performer Alexa Vetere (Minarik Guitars sponsored). Going to fly in on Wednesday, and not sure yet how long I'm going to stay. I may hang around a while after NAMM. Anyone wanna take me out for dinner? I'm a cheap date. Vegetarian who doesn't drink.

Well, Colin, I think I just may behave this year at NAMM actually....the arm's still dead. Second chiroptractor vist on Friday then into a nurologist next Tuesday.

I'm getting pretty good at packing basses with one hand though.

I'm coming into NAMM with a few engines on fire, but what else is new??

Well hang in there bud, at least you have a positive outlook. Don't go for acupuncture the needles go in for free, but cost money to come out

She's a kid (just turned 18), and probably one of the sweetest kids on the planet. If I weren't old enough to be her father (uhh... maybe grandfather) I'd have probably been kicked out of this thing a long time ago. So would the other guys in the band.
