...if you're looking for a Blue Dawn bass, check the for sale thread.

Bloody hell! I count 3 on one page.

Maybe I should post my Blue Dawn Bongo 4HHP and make it four for sale  I might need room - I just bought a Black 2006 LR SR4HH (with the gold hardware). My fiancee may not think it will go with our furniture though.

The Blue Dawn that Jack sold is my old one that I used to loosen his grip on the "extra" Dargie he used to have in my own maniacal plan (plan = BD + DD2 for DD1) for getting an original Dargie. It was in pristine condition and the original owner really took good care of it so the new owner should be really pleased with it. What does it say about our collections when a bass as awesome as a Blue Dawn has to be the one that has to go? Tough choices in Bongo Land.

All things being equal, if there were not emotional attachments, the Blue Dawn would have stayed and the Sapphire Black would have gone....but the first Bongo I ever got? I can't do it.

And yeah, the Blue Dawn is really freakin' great.

Dang. We must have good basses around, Mark.

When I told my wife the Blue Dawn was leaving a couple of months ago she said " not the blue one , it's really pretty". Then I told her about the maniacal plan and her eyes just started to glaze over (due to the confusion I'm sure). One thing she knows is basses will come and go until the itch is scratched (not to be confused with the Tiger itch) and it seems like every couple of months the itch comes back. Right now I got a hankering for a Desert Gold Bongo fiver, it just seems like one of the best colors I've ever seen on a Bongo.
