That "display" Luke is absolutely stunning if you ask me. I wonder who gets that one. The previous grapes of wrath is touring with the man himself now :)

That L3 is stunning. The etched logos are a nice touch, as is the burst on the back with exotic wood on the front.
Seems I recall reading a comment or two in the last few months by people wishing for an Albert Lee with MM90s.

 Is it weird I'm getting wood for Luke's woody?

And that short scale Stingray is also pretty killer!

I'm really keen on the Valentine Carmelo but man, it's crazy money here in AUS. I've never imported a guitar so not sure what it would all come to if I could order from the US to Australia but I've found one website here that's close to $8k. Nope.

You can order directly from the website, instruments are available internationally.
3499,00 USD for the Valentine, and you will have to pay the VAT plus maybe customs tax (I don't know how much it is in Australia...).
But at the end it should be less than 8k AUD ;)

Thanks for the idea, hadn't even considered ordering direct! It actually shows the conversion and landed cost with shipping/taxes etc. Came to around $6k AUD - much better!
One thing though, it says ships within 4 months. Aren't these already made and ready to ship?

Some of them are ready to ship as of the launch date (typically listed as available to ship immediately), others are currently in production on the factory floor, and then there are a few more that may not have been started yet. Those are the ones that would take the longest amount of time to receive.

Damn - that Luke is almost perfect. If it was HSS I wouldn't hesitate, but unfortunately I hate neck humbuckers! 😭

Quick question on ordering direct from Music Man. If you purchase can you ask for photos before it's sent to see the guitar?
Obviously there can be variances in necks etc so would be great to see or perhaps see if an alternative prior to receiving it.

I did asked my dealer if it’s possible to order a LIII Woody and he replied back that he will get a single one but that one already has a stress crack at the neck pocket right from the factory.
Same happens to a BFR Grapes.
Sorry but I always thought that it is something special to get a BFR.
I would have directly ordered that Woody but in that case, no sorry.

Its a shame the Axis models do not come with matching heads these days, they look way better with them.
