Hello,

I just purchased a used EB Axis in excellent condition I must say. It has a Musicman Floyd Tremolo on it and the small u-shaped base on the bridge where the arm sits in seems to be loose, it moves when I move the arm. There is a little allen screw on the side of that u-shaped base where the arm sits and I believe that adjusts the arm tension a bit. Under the back plate, there is a bigger allen adjustment on a stem that seems to adjust the arm tension (swing) a bit more. It looks like there may be a bolt deep inside to tighten that small loose u-shaped base to the bridge but I am not sure. Any suggestions or links with specific directions? Any help would be much appreciated. What a great guitar this is!

Thanks for the information. Would you be able to tell me what the correct functions of the allen adjustments are as well? The small allen screw on the u-shaped base and the allen adjustment on the stem under the rear panel. Thanks again.

The screw on the u shaped part adjusts the amount of drag on the arm...Tighten it, and the arm wont move. The one at the bottom of the arm holds the arm in.

I really appreciate it, all good now. I'll probably need help when it's time to change the strings, never did that on a Floyd, some look different than the Musicman one. Are there directions anywhere?
