Hey Merry Christmas everybody. I just want to know want yall think of Los Lonely Boys, more importantly Henry Garza, as far as guitar playing is concerned. Just give me some feedback if you could, I value yalls opinions most. Peace and Happy New Year.

Well, I think that he is one outstanding player. Very soulful and plays from the heart. Just what the music industry needs. From interviews that I have read, he is very humble and very family oriented. I hope he stays that way and continues to pump out killer guitar tunes. Hope he's around for many many years to come.

IMHO, Garza's a very good player. He kind of mixes influences from SRV, Santana.

I think LLB's greatest feature is their vocal harmonies, but they all seem to be excellent musicians as well.

The tune "Onda" on their CD is a fantastic piece, IMHO.

I think his playing is very tasty.

The song, "Heaven," sounds like it could have been recorded in the 70s, know what I mean?

It's the first pop-type song I've liked in a while.

Mike

It's really good. I bought it on the strength of that single, but the whole CD is good

Any of you get the special edition cd/dvd ?If you haven't bought yet get that one.Has a few music videos then goes into a acoustic set with about four songs.Jojo has good taste .Has an acoustic Tacoma bass. :D

Yeah, i really dig the whole band. I'm most impressed w/ the bass player. You can tell that he can smoke the fretboard, but he's mostly concerned w/ the pocket. The biggest compliment that a bassist, for me anyways, is that he/she holds the pocket well. He does it very well.
