I am feeling with you. One of our pals died last Thursday night while standup surfing on a river near Munich. He and his friend who likely tried to rescue him both drowned. They were found the next morning, still under the water because of the strong currant. The life vests had no use and they where holding each other.

It's a shame when they die young!
