OMB - It broke my heart to read this post. I can only imagine what it must be like to lose someone so close and special. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
OMB, I'm so, so sorry. Lean on your family and close friends. That's what they're there for. Don't feel like you are burdening them, because true loved ones are always willing to lend their support. This will take time, and all the time it takes.
You know lots of us post on here about all sorts of stuff which compared to what you have been through is totally meaningless.
I cant say I know what it feels like to go through what you have (and to be honest I hope I never have to......)
All I can say is you need to get through this and make the most of the time you have left (I'm 40 this year and started to think about the amount of time I have to go......)
So sorry to read this, nearly burst into tears ... I know this sounds sillly, but keep the good memories and be happy you had 38 years. Some never find that special one to share their lives with...
OMB, I definitely suck at figuring out what to say in this kind of situation. All I can say will be very ordinary : I'm sorry for your loss, I can feel your pain, all my condolences.
The outpouring of love and thoughts have been overwhelming over the past 5 weeks, so much that I have had little time to think about my families loss, but when I do I can only describe it as tremendous.
I told my Pastor as we stood beside that mound of dirt that claimed all I ever believed in to go home and hug and hold his wife tonight, he ask me why, and I told him because he still can, and that there may be a night when he will not be able to anymore.
I say the same to all of you tonight to go and hold close to you your loved ones while you still can........
Thank you all for your heart felt support, prays and thoughts...God Bless each and everyone of you.........
I can only hope and pray that when times such as these come into your lives that this kind of support is there for all of you.
My prayers are with you as you struggle through this. The loss of a loved one is never easy, but you and I both know that she is at peace with the Lord.
