I finally played one of the new Stingray II guitars at a local store, and I’m definitely going to buy one once I get the funds. The used prices are starting to settle at a good spot as well.

Aesthetically, the Stingray bass body shape speaks to me, and the guitar meets all of my preferences. I was looking over that preference list and I started realizing how overly specific it is. Thank god someone finally built a guitar that checked all of the boxes!

22 frets, double humbuckers, vibrato, forearm contour, rolled fingerboard edges, straight string pull, 4x2 or 3x3 tuners… double cut, symmetrical pick guard if it has one, doesn’t look like a strat… sheesh.
