hey folks which MM do you guys think is best suited for drop tuning, anything lower than standard

which one do you think will cope with lower tunings best

obviously the Silh. Bass (baritone) in the best but please no baritone suggestions unless its the JP one which may be in the works

(I found that out from the post about JP and JM at the MM factory)

well they all have the same scale length so its really a matter of pups, I would go with guitar where you can easily change the pups and not kill the value fo the guitar like a silo or silo special, I have a silo special downtuned and it sounds great -

the JP i think might've been design to handle lower tunings better. the trem, since it's not a floyd rose, is really stable for that and easiear to adjust to different strings/tension.

you might want a more experienced opinion though.

The trem is essentially the same as the normal vintage one, only the plate where the vintage has the music man logo is different.

I'd go with a Silo hardtail, simply because it's less of a pain to set it up for different tunings.
