When I use the trem form moderate to dive bombs, the low E sharpens. After looking closley, I can actually see the tuning peg rotate ever so slightly counter clockwise when I use the trem - more obvious when I dive bomb. Anybody know how to cure this? I've never seen this before. It does turn back slightly when I return the trem, but not enough. It is very consistant and only sharpens to a certain point. It just stops rotating once it is sharp -no matter how many dive bombs I do.
The bridge is setup almost perfect. Infact, all the strings stay in tune very well even after a dive bomb, i.e. when I retune the E string, the rest are still in tune.
I don't know why that peg wants to return to a certain spot all the time. I suppose I could restring and rotate the peg like 90 degrees to see what happens, but I just restrung it!
