And there's a good reason BP calls us knuckleheads. I keep my action fretrattlingly low and couldn't understand why I was hearing some distortion even at lower volume. Duh! Factory specs on pickup height, and all is well in Sterling (the bass, not the boss) land.

Nice find and convenient. I currently use a ruler and feeler guages but this product would be much easier to use since it will span the frets and make it much mor useful than a ruler by itself.

Getting too hung up on physical measurements will not necessarily result in a setup that works for everyone.

Is it Correct that I must get a lower pickup setting with the HH than a H? Its like the strings resonate when I put the height on the H and HH equal...
