Did that model come with the tone block? Or is it just a regular Luke with an inlay and a Blue Dawn paint job?

Thanks! I had a purple Axis quite a while back and I'm itching for another MM to go back in the stable and the Luke seems to fit the bill.

Can't help it, but it's a shame that such a beautiful Ball is in stock for such a long time..to push you over the edge, here's a pic of my BD LE Luke (it's darker in person, and way more sparkly under stage lights!):

The last two pics of yours are just dynamite!

Looks like it is a touch finish to photograph. Looking at the other thread, some pics are like ugh and others are like "get out the credit card" good.

Hey bryan, thats my luke in the pic in post 10. actually one of 2 BD that i own. this one was bought in 2002 when the color was offered as one of their standard colors. my le 2007 has a piezo.

the sparkles in this photograph seem exaggerated and are quite a bit more subtle in person. I had talked my bass player at the time into picking up that bd sterling AND TAKING OFF THE PICKGUARD to highlight its beauty. The silo belongs to norm on this forum who was in town a couple days.

good luck if you decide to go for it
