Saw Mr. Lukather with the Ringo All Starr band tonight in T-town. What a great show! Talk about an awesome unit of musicians.

I took a few pics that I thought would be interesting to share. I got right next to the stage before the show started:

Asked Luke directly via Twitter about the switch back to maple + rosewood necks. Here's what he said:

@stevelukather: I wanted to change back No big deal I play both!

If I could do anything I wanted, I'd swap necks too on my EBMM too. Wish I had a Al SSS so I could swap my Al HH rosewood neck onto it!

Good work, Hiro! I noticed on a few songs at the show (like "Kyrie") that he had a really great sounding chorus/vibrato effect going on. Wasn't sure if it was this blue box or the Strymon Lex. After listening to the clips, I think it was definitely the Jam Waterfall chorus.

I wonder if Luke likes the Strymon Ola Chorus and Vibrato. That is an amazing looking pedal. Everything Strymon has in their lineup is really awesome. Looks like he is definitely digging the Blue Sky and Lex .
